Longtime Louisiana Horseman Raymond Reed Loup Passed Away At The Age of 82

ADDIS, LA–SEPTEMBER 11, 2026–Raymond Reed Loup passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge at the age of 82.
Born on March 11, 1944, in Baton Rouge, Raymond was a native of Port Allen, where he was part of the inaugural kindergarten class at Holy Family Catholic School. He went on to graduate from Catholic High School in 1962, where his standout high school athletic career earned him several athletic scholarships.
