Heritage Place 38th Fall Mixed Sale Set to Open Friday, Pre-Sale Party and Night of Legends Thursday


Heritage Place will kick-off their 38th annual Fall Mixed Sale will get under way Friday in Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—NOVEMBER 2, 2016—Heritage Place will kick off their 38th annual Fall Mixed Sale at the Heritage Place Sales Pavilion in Oklahoma City on Friday. Five hundred and seventy-one head of broodmares, stallions, yearlings and horses of racing age have been cataloged for the two-day event, November 4-5.

Sale Festivities get underway Thursday (Nov.3) at 5:00 p.m. (CDT) with the annual pre-sale party and a special "Night With The Legends of American Quarter Horse Racing—Legends of the Horse Sale" hosted by TRACK Magazine and Heritage Place.

“With another good catalog and the 'The Night of the Legends', it appears that this is going to be a great week,” Heritage Place’s General Manager Spence Kidney said.

The sale will begin promptly Friday morning at 10:00 am with Session One featuring Yearling Hip 1 thru 110.

Heritage Place announced earlier this week eight Quarter Horse yearlings, by such leading sires as Apollitical Jess, Captain Courage, Corona Cartel, First Down Dash, No Secrets Here, One Famous Eagle and Pyc Paint Your Wagon, will sell as supplements to the catalog immediately following Hip #110 on Friday. The second session on Day 1 will be mixed Hips 111 thru 281.

A reception hosted by the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association will be held at the Heritage Place Restaurant and Club immediately following the first night of the sale.

Saturday's session (three) will also get underway promptly at 10 a.m. offering a final Mixed Session of hips 282 through 563.
