Tf Thrilling Runaway Best In Louisiana Downs Feature Allowance Tuesday


Tf Thrilly Runaway (#1), under jockey Ubaldo Luna, defeats Bellas Fantasty (#2) in the $15,000 Feature Allowance at Louisiana Downs Tuesday.

BOSSIER CITY, LA—MARCH 1, 2022—Tf Thrilling Runaway outkicked Bellas Fantasy at the wire to win the $15,000 Feature Allowance by a neck at Louisiana Downs Tuesday.

Under jockey Ubaldo Luna, the 4-year-old daughter of multiple stakes sire Sir Runway Dash completed the 300 yards in :16.624 seconds, equaling a 91 speed index. It was the third career win in 10 starts for the gray mare.

Trainer Larry Keith saddled the Louisiana-bred winner for owner Runaway Ranch LLC. Tate Farms and Ron Habetz bred Tf Thrilling Runaway from the Shazoom mare Thrillish. The $9,000 winner's purse boosted Tf Thrilling Runaways earnings total to $41,720.

Runner-up Bellas Fantasy earned $3,000 for second. Owned-and-trained by Manuel Pizana the 5-year-old daughter of Grade 1 Ruidoso Futurity winner Okey Dokey Fantasy was ridden by Arturo Alvarez. Bred by Julien Stevens, Jr., from the Special Crown Royal mare Bella Perla, Bellas Fantasy has banked $51,784 in 29 career starts.

Shes Jess So Special finished three-quarters back to pick up $1,650 for third. Trainer Kenneth Weeks conditions the Jess An Idea filly for himself and Donna Weeks. Jasiel Aquino rode the 3-year-old out of the Special Leader mare Ima Special Do Ya. Shes So Special has earned $26,488.

Icecoldblood, Tttroyalityntheblood and Jrs Magic Piloto completed the field. Bjs Magic Fantasy was scratched.
