Speedy Piloto Gee Scores First Stakes Victory In Opelousas Stakes

Speedy Piloto Gee completed the 350 yards in :17.486 seconds, equaling a 96 speed index into a 3 mph crosswind. It was the fourth win 16 career starts for the daughter All American Futurity(G1) winner Mr Piloto. The $21,000 winner's payday boosted her earnings total to $80,259.
Barbra Alcantara trains the gray filly for owner Armando Vasquez Rodriguez, Grant Farms LLC bred Speedy Piloto Gee from the Duel Fuel mare Dominating Speed.
Runner-up Tuckers Prize picked up $7,000 for finishing second. Owner-trainer Preston Jourdan named jockey J.R. Ramirez to ride the 4-year-old son of multiple stakes sire Fast Prize Dash.

Multiple graded winner Eysa Jess Jumpn boosted her earnings total to $925,397 after pocketing $3,850 for third. Joel Huitron trains the leading daughter Heza Fast Dash for Jose Estrada Quarter Horses. D & S Racing LLC bred the 15-time winner from the Mr Jess Perry mare Jess Jumpn. David Alvarez was riding.
Barjaxs, Fabulously Black and Runaway Easy Sir completed the field.
