She's Back! Eysa Jess Jumpn Gets 11th Straight In Flashy Hemp Stakes

Eysa Jess Jumpn, under jockey David Alvarez, getting her 11th consecutive win in the $50,000 Flashy Hemp Stakes Saturday at Delta Downs.

Ridden by David Alvarez, for trainer Joel Huitron, the daughter of leading sire Heza Fast Dash completed the 330 yards in :16.429 seconds, a 101 speed index.

Making her first start since going to breeding barn in January, trainer Joel Huitron said he was a little worried she might not get the distance. "We felt she would come back, she was training well and we are very pleased with her win tonight,"

Asked if they were able to flush any embryos owner Jose Estrada said "We tried for a couple of Freighttrain B's to get a Louisiana-bred but had no luck. We do have one recipient mare in-foal to FDD Dynasty."

The 4-year-old filly, who has won 15 of 18 career start,s has not been beaten since November of 2018.

Bred by D & S Racing LLC, from the Mr Jess Perry mare Jess Jumpn, Eysa Jess Jumpn has earned $917,537. Among her biggest wins are the Lee Berwick Futurity(RG1), Dash For Cash Derby(G2), Sam Houston Derby(G3), Louisiana Champions Day Juvenile(RG2) and LQHBA Breeders; Derby (RG3).

Kenneth Roberts, Sr. saddled runner-up Sea Yacht Dash for owner Jeannie Baldwin. Donald Watson rode the Sir Runaway Dash filly out of Yacht Sea by Mr Jess Perry. Russel Mowad is the breeder. She earned $10,000.

Corona Down Perry, a daughter of leading Louisiana sire Coronas Leaving You, earned $5,500 for third. Martin Treo saddled the 4-year-old for owner Carlos Acuna. Grant Farms, LLC bred Corona Down Perry from Second Down Perry by Mr Jess Perry.

Speedy Piloto Gee, Apollitical Bug, Cajun Cos, Perry Mouse Tale, Escandalo and Bibbity Bobbity Blue completed the field.
