Eyesa Freighttrain B Posts Fastest Time From Impressive Training Race Debut at Delta Downs Thursday

VINTON, LA–APRIL 12, 2023–Eyesa Freighttrain B, a royally-bred son of world champion sire Freighttrain B, posted the fastest training race time from 10 schooling races hosted Thursday night at Delta Downs for 2-year-old colts and geldings who remain eligible for one the four futurities on the tracks 2023 stakes schedule.

Delta Downs live Quarter Horse meeting will kick off April 29  and run thru July 15.

Under jockey Everardo Rodriguez Eyesa Freighttrain B broke well then widened on the field to win Race 6 by 1-1/4 lengths while posting the night's fastest clocking of :12.193 seconds for 220 yards.  The bay colt owned by Party Tyme Racing is trained by Jose Espinosa.

Bred by Jumonville Farms and Burnett Ranch, from the Mr Jess Perry mare Eyejesslovelouisiana, Eyesa Freighttrain B is a half-brother to four black type including multiple RG2 winner Heza Louisiana Dash and stakes winner Sizzlin On Da Bayou. This is the family of champion and multiple stakes sire Jess Louisiana Blue.

Mc Black Carter, a son of champion Carters Cartel from the Spit Curl Jess mare Coronas Black Curls, finished second in Race 6 while holding on to the second fastest clocking of :12.384 seconds. Wilmar Omar Quintanilla owns the bay colt from the family of all-time leading sire First Down Dash.  Xavier Scott  trains the Roland Frederick and Triple Lynn Farms Louisiana-bred.

Cardiac, a neck winner over Jrs Majestic Shadow in Race 5, posted the third fastest clocking of :12.397 seconds. Champion trainer Kenneth Roberts , Sr. conditions the son of champion Five Bar Cartel for A & A Racing, Inc.

Bennie and Terri Jeter bred the $33,500 LQHBA Sale graduate from the Executive Menace mare Executive Promises. Cardiac is a half-brother to Grade 3 winner New News. This is the family of All American Futurity winner Elans Special. Ubaldo Luna was the rider.
