Dynasty Blood Gets Second Win at Louisiana Downs Meet


Gt N Boos Runaway (#8) gets up over Rogue From The South (#6) in Tuesday's $11,700 feature allowance at Louisiana Downs.

BOSSIER CITY, LA–MARCH 29, 2023–Dynasty Blood raced to her second win of the meet today (Wednesday) when she won an $11,000 feature allowance, for 3-year-olds and up who have never won two races, by half-a-length as the post time favorite.

Under jockey Rene Hernandez, Dynasty Blood completed the 220 yards in :12.181 seconds into a 5 mph headwind. The $6,600 winner's purse boosted her career bankroll to $24,918.

Jose Carrizales trains the 3-year-old Louisiana-bred daughter of leading sire Apollitical Blood for owner Alberto Salinas. Bred by BMAQ Racing LLC, she is out of the FDD Dynasty mare Shesa Dynasty

Ms Turquoise earned $2,200 for her second-place effort under jockey J.R. Ramirez. Darrel Soileau trains the Mr Piloto filly for owner Jeffery Quebedeaux. Eddie Crammer and Bill Maher bred the sorrel filly from the Walk Thru Fire mare Turquoise. Ms Turquoise has banked $14,750 in seven career starts.

Edna K. Herrera's D Fast Noon Prize finished a head back to earn $1,210 for third. Unraced at 2, the daughter of Fast Prize Dash was making only her fourth career start. Trainer Renato Contreras named jockey Arnulfo Gutierrez to ride the Louisiana-bred filly out of Hi Noon Surprise by Dashin Bye.

Jessa Louisiana, Sheza Louisiana, South Henry Streak and Carters Baby Blues completed the field.
