Lifeinthefastlanes is Morning-Line Favorite for $276,825 Louisiana QHBA Breeders’ Derby

OPELOUSAS, LA—DECEMBER 15, 2020—Lifeinthefastlanes, a daughter of champion Jess Louisiana Blue racing for Jason Richards and Michael J. Leblanc, drew post 8 for Saturday’s 400-yard, $276,825 Louisiana QHBA Breeders’ Derby (R) for state-bred 3-year-olds at Evangeline Downs.
The 7-5 morning-line favorite, Lifeinthefastlanes set the fastest qualifying time with her half-length victory in the first of three trials on November 21. The filly has won all five of her outs and has won two stakes this season, including the 400-yard, $277,000 Delta Downs Derby (RG3) on August 22.
Lifeinthefastlanes will be ridden by David Alvarez for trainer Kenneth Roberts Sr.
