BOSSIER CITY, LA—MARCH 19, 2018—Fastest qualifier Going Noble is one of 10 2-year-olds entered back in Wednesday’s 300-yard, $238,090 Harrah’s Futurity (G3) at Louisiana Downs.

A homebred son of the FDD Dynasty stallion FDD Going Grand trained by Lanny Keith for Mercy Hinklin’s Horse Farm LLC, Going Noble made his debut with a two-length victory in the first of seven trials on March 3.

“He ran a great trial and came back fine,” said Keith of Going Noble. “All you can hope for in these early futurities is that they stay sound and can move forward.”

Going Noble is out of A Noble Jess Elie, a winning homebred daughter of the Mr Jess Perry stallion Jess Elie who ran second in the 2013 Harrah’s Futurity. The gelding drew post 10 and will be ridden by Everardo Rodriguez.

Patriotic Games, the second-fastest qualifier, drew post 3 and will be ridden by Rodrigo Vallejo for owner Ramiro Jaime Flores Sr. and trainer Eduardo Morales. A Texas-bred son of all-time leading sire First Down Dash, the colt was a $38,000 buy at last year’s Heritage Place Yearling Sale.

The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments and morning-line odds:

  1. Fivebarlove (Noe Castaneda), 20-1
  2. Parti Wagon (Rolando Pina), 12-1
  3. Patriotic Games (Rodrigo Vallejo), 3-1
  4. Rock Winners Jese (Luis Vivanco), 8-1
