Potus to Risk Win Streak in Delta’s Par-A-Dice Stakes

VINTON, LA—MAY 13, 2016—Potus, a homebred 4-year-old son of champion Toast To Dash racing for Pat Allen, will put his three-race win streak on the line in Thursday’s 300-yard, $20,000 Par-A-Dice Stakes (R) at Delta Downs.
Potus will be making his first-ever start at Delta Downs off of a Sam Houston Race Park spring campaign during which he won two allowance races. The gelding drew post 10 and will be ridden by Noe Villatoro for trainer Judd Kearl.
Other contenders include Judith Ladner’s Voncitas Game, a stakes placed 5-year-old Game Patriot gelding trained by Edwin Ladner. Voncitas Game ran second, a half of a length behind winner Oak Hill Streak, in the 350-yard, $40,000 Louisiana Purchase Stakes (R) for state-breds on May 6.
The Par-A-Dice Stakes is restricted to horses who have not won a stakes race. The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments--
