Fastest Qualifier Mayleen PYC Returns in $240,910 Harrah’s Entertainment Futurity Final

BOSSIER CITY, LA—MARCH 16, 2015—Leticia Contreras’ Mayleen PYC, the fastest qualifier, drew post 5 for Saturday’s 300-yard, $240,910 Harrah’s Entertainment Futurity (G3) at Louisiana Downs.
A bay daughter of Pyc Paint Your Wagon trained by Salvador Flores, Mayleen PYC made her career debut with a convincing two-length victory on a sloppy and sealed track in the third of eight trials on March 1. Ricky Ramirez will again ride the filly in the final.
Second-fastest qualifier TG Coronas Memory won the last trial by a nose for his owner, Tomas Gutierrez’s TG Horse Racing LLC. A sorrel colt by Jess A Chicks trained by Jose A. Garcia, TG Coronas Memory drew post 3 and will again be ridden by Alejandro Medina.
