Worlds On High Returns in Evangeline’s Races and Aces Stakes

OPELOUSAS, LA—NOVEMBER 19, 2014—Kris Locklear’s Worlds On High is one of eight Louisiana-bred distance specialists entered in Saturday’s 870-yard, $35,000 Races and Aces Stakes (R) at Evangeline Downs.
An 8-year-old Game Patriot gelding trained by Vann Haywood, Worlds On High has won two 870-yard stakes this season, including the June 6, $30,000 Virgil Bond Stakes at Delta Downs. Worlds On High drew post 4 and will be ridden by Dennis Means on Saturday.
Other contenders include Downtown Forrest, a 5-year-old gelded son of Beau Brummel SA racing for Walter E. Alford from the barn of Carl Crawford. Downtown Forrest has earned $69,250 from eight outs this season, including the 870-yard, $60,000 Live Oak Stakes (R) at Delta Downs on July 12.
Jake Pierce will ride Downtown Forrest from post 2 in the Races and Aces Stakes.
