Tate Farms Holds Stud Fees Steady For 2022

VILLE PLATTE, LA—DECEMBER 8, 2021—Tate Farms has set 2022 stud fees for its roster of nine stallions for the upcoming breeding season, leaving all fees unchanged from 2021.

Leading the roster at $6,500 is world champion and multiple champion sire One Dashing Eagle, who has sired 156 winners, 21 black type (12%), earners of over $6.5 million and average earnings per starter of more than $25,600.

One Dashing Eagle's top performers include champion Eagle Jazz ($903,649), Champion Cers Final Try ($687,647 to 4, 2021), Rainbow Derby(G1) winner Eagle Coast ($740,778), etc.

A top 25 Leading Sire of Money Earners in 2021, One Sweet Jess will remain $5,500 for 2022. Harrah's Futurity(G3) winner Lucky Dice ($215,952 at 2, 2021) was the Grade 1 son of Mr Jess Perry's leading money earner in 2021. One Sweet Jess has sired 305 winners, 77 black type (15%), 1 champion and earners of more than $11.2 million with average earnings per starter over $21,500.

One Sweet Jess' top performers include Champion One Sweet Racy ($397,423), Los Alamitos Super Derby(G1) winner Jesstacartel ($686,650), Rainbow Derby(G1) winner Magical Jess ($421,650), etc. A leading Louisiana sire, Sir Runaway Dash will remain $3,000, frozen semen only. He has sired earners of more than $10.5 million including LQBA Louisiana Million Futurity winner Tf Racee Runway ($536,196), Jls Dashing And Zoomin ($534,505), etc.

Stud fees for Ivan James, Rip Tide and Tf Im That Guy, remain $2,000; Heza Fast Rogue $1,750; Stevie B First Cash, $1,500 and Turbulent Times, $1,200.
