LQHBA Awards Another $4,000 In Scholarships During Saturday's Champions Day at the Fairgrounds

NEW ORLEANS, LA—DECEMBER 12, 2021—LQHBA continued their Scholarship Award program on Saturday at the Fairgrounds Race Course in New Orleans by awarding four scholarships "live" to Louisiana youths during the Louisiana Champions Day.

Potential applicants had to register in person at the racetrack and be present to win.

Molly Monteleone, Alexandra Nasas, Christopher Collet and Patrick Mahan were awarded a $1,000 scholarship each from a "live drawing" held in the Fairgrounds winner's circle following the second race, the $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day QH Juvenile(RG2), and third race, the $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day QH Derby(RG3).

LQHBA Executive Director Bruce Salard was on hand to present the scholarships to each student.

LQHBA has awarded more than $700,000 in scholarships to the youth of Louisiana through this program.
