On this episode,'s Greg Thompson talks with 2020 Evangeline Downs leading trainer Trey Ellis about the second-fastest qualifier, Love The Way You Fly, going into Saturday's $276,825 LQHBA Breeders' erby.

The 3-year old colt is out of the $1-Million Heritage Place Futurity(G1) winning mare, Lovethewayyoulie, and was a winner as a 2-year old in the LQHBA Louisiana Million Invitational Stakes at Evangeline Downs in 2019.

Coverage of the 2020 Louisiana Million Weekend at Evangeline Downs is co-sponsored on by two sires standing at the Louisiana Center For Equine Reproduction, Mr Piloto and The Louisiana Cartel, as well as the thoroughbred sire Imperial Hint.

Mr Piloto is by Mr Jess Perry, and is the winner of the 2010 All American Futurity(G1). The millionaire produced a stakes winner in his first crop to race, and has gone on to sire such runners as LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity(G1) winner Mpshinning, and the multiple Grade 1 placed Ed O.

The Louisiana Cartel was the leading 2nd crop sire of earners of 2016, and is currently in the top-20 of sire list of earners for 2020. The son of Corona Cartel, The Louisiana Cartel has produced such runners as All American Derby(G1) winner Ec Jet One, and the G1 winning Mi Amor Secreto.

Thoroughbred stallion Imperial Hint enters stud duty in 2021 in Louisiana, with semen available to Quarter Horse mares through the Louisiana Center For Equine Reproduction in Opelousas. Imperial Hint is the track-record holder for 6 furlongs at the historic Saratoga Racecourse in 1:07.92. Imperial Hint is a four-time G1 winner and earned $2,209,055.
