Lee Berwick Futurity Update

Louisiana-bred 2-year-olds still have time to supplement to the $1-million-est. Lee Berwick Futurity(RG1) at time of entry.

ALEXANDRIA, LA—JUNE 22, 2020—Louisiana-bred 2-year-olds will have one last chance to supplement to the upcoming $1-million-est. Lee Berwick Futurity(RG1) at time of entry.

"We are very excited the 2020 Lee Berwick Futurity is on target to reach $1,000,000 purse at Delta Downs this summer," LQHBA Executive Director Bruce Salard said this week. " A great credit to the support from LQHBA members to keep Louisiana racing strong against all the headwinds this year."

Currently 289 state-bred 2-year-olds are eligible to enter the July 31st trials for the $350,000-added 350 yard race. Trial payment entries must be made in cash or cashier's check only to the Horsemen's Bookkeeper at Delta Downs.

Supplemental nominations of $12,500 to enter the trials must be made to the Horsemen's Bookkeeper at Delta Downs prior to time of entries closing.
