Nominations Close November 23 for Louisiana Champions Day

Nominations for the Annual Louisiana Champions Day races to be held December 12 at Fair Grounds Race Course are due Monday, November 23.

ALEXANDRIA, LA—OCTOBER 15, 2015—Nominations for the 2015 Louisiana Champions Day, for accredited Louisiana-bred Quarter Horses, will close Monday, November 23.

Set for Saturday, December 12 at Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans the annual "Champions Day" card will include $100,000-Guaranteed Louisiana Champions Day Juvenile (350 yards for 2-year-olds); $100,000-Guaranteed Louisiana Champions Day Derby (400 yards for 3-year-olds); $100,000-Guaranteed Louisiana Champions Day Classic (440 yards for 4-year-olds and up).

Nomination fee for each race is $400 and must be postmarked by Monday, November 23 (an additional $600 will be due to enter prior to time of entries closing). Entrants to each of the three races will be determined by 2015 earnings through and including November 28, 2015 verified by the American Quarter Horse Association (12 horse fields will be encouraged).
