LQHBA Names 2023 Louisiana-Bred Champions

One Sweet Sugar was the champion 2-year-old filly and high-money earning Louisiana-Bred in 2023. She won the Lee Berwick Futurity(RG1) ane Lassie Futurity (RG2).

ALEXANDRIA, LA—FEBRUARY 2, 2024—LQHBA announced their 2023 Louisiana-Bred Champions today.

"LQHBA salutes all ACCREDITED Louisiana Bred Racing Champions for Year ended 2023," LQHBA Executive Director Bruce Salard said. "Champions awards for 2023 are based on money earned and a horse cannot be on the AQHA Media list. There is NO VOTING for these awards."

An affiliate of the AQHA, LQHBA followed the associations media awards policy. Please refer to aqha.com for the AQHA Awards and publicity policy.
