Harrah's Futurity Schooling Races at Louisiana Downs Canceled Friday


Friday's schooling races for Harrah's Futurity hopefuls has been canceled due to inclement weather conditions.

BOSSIER CITY, LA—FEBRUARY 16, 2021—According to officials at Louisiana Downs, schooling races scheduled Friday for 2-year-olds remaining eligible for the Grade 3 Harrah's Futurity have been canceled due to the severe winter weather outbreak in Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma.

Trials for the 300 yard $75,000-added Harrah’s Futurity will be contested on Saturday March 13 and the final will run back Saturday, April 3.

The track conducted 18 schooling races last Friday for the $350,000-est. Mardi Gras Futurity (see related story).

Additional information regarding rescheduling the Harrah's Futurity training races will be posted when it becomes available from the track.
