Louisiana Champions Day Nominations Due November 23

Nominations close November 23 for the 2020 Louisiana Champions Day Stakes races at Fair Grounds Race Course.

Accredited Louisiana-Bred Quarter Horses may nominate to the following Louisiana Champions Day stakes races set for Saturday, December 12th at Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans:

• Louisiana Champions Day Juvenile (RG2) – 2YO's 350 yards
  $100,000 Guaranteed
• Louisiana Champions Day Derby (RG3) - 3 YO's 400 yards
  $100,000 Guaranteed
• Louisiana Champions Day Classic (RG2) - 4 YO's & Up 440 yards
  $100,000 Guaranteed

Horsemen and women must include a $400 nomination fee and mail a completed form on or before Monday, November 23, 2020 to LQHBA, 105 Carlyon Lane, Alexandria, Louisiana 71303-7783.

Preference for each of the three races will be determined by 2020 earnings, through and including November 16th, as verified by the American Quarter Horse Association. LQHBA always encourages 12 horse fields.

A list of nominees along with their 2020 earnings will be published by LQHBA on Monday, November 30th

An additional fee of $600 to enter will be due to the Horsemen's Bookkeeper prior to time of entries closing. Nominations and entry fees will be refunded to horses that do not drawn into the body of the race(s).
