Boyd Gamimg Files Temporary Restraining Order

Boyd Games has field a temporary restraining order to prevent LQHBA and LAHBPA members from moving their horses into Delta Downs or Evangeline Downs and to continue training.

BATON ROUGE, LA—MARCH 22, 2020—Boyd Gaming has responded to the Louisiana State Racing Commission's order (see related story) on Friday (March 20) for all Louisiana racetracks to allow horses to move customarily between tracks to each trainer’s allocated stalls and to continue training.

Boyd Gaming, on behalf of Evangeline Downs and Delta Downs, filed a temporary restraining order to prevent trainers from moving their horses into Delta Downs or Evangeline Downs and to continue training.

The hearing on this restraining order is scheduled to be heard on Friday (March 27).
