Nominations Close December 4 For $400,000-est Firecracker Futurity, $100,000-Added Firecracker Derby

The track has increased the payment schedule for the grade II Futurity which now gives it an estimated purse of $400,00 for next year. The Derby is a $100,000-added event.
Delta Downs’s 2020 American Quarter Horse Season will include 46 live race days and runs from April 17 through July 4.
The Firecracker Futurity and Derby, each for open-bred horses, will be contested on the penultimate day of the meet, Friday, July 3. The Futurity is for 2-year-olds competing at 350 yards. The Derby is a 400-yard test for 3-year-olds.

The first of four payments to the futurity is due on or before December 4 with the other payments due by February 19, April 22 and entry day, June 29.
