Nominations Due December 4 for 2020 Firecracker Series at Delta Downs

Nominations for the 2020 Firecracker Futurity and Derby are due on or before Wednesday, December 4.

VINTON, LA—NOVEMBER 19, 2019—A revised nomination blank is now available from Delta Downs for the 2020 $400,000-est. Firecracker Futurity(G2) and the 2020 $100,000-added Firecracker Derby. Nominations to both races are due on or before Wednesday, December 4.

Open to all 2-year-old Quarter Horse foals of 2018, trials at distance of 350 yards for the $100,000-added Grade 2 Firecracker Futurity will conducted at Delta Downs on Saturday, June 6th. The final will run back on Friday, July 3, 2020.

The 400 yard $100,000-added Firecracker Derby trials, for all 3-year-old Quarter Horse foals of 2017, will be held Friday, June 5th and the final will also be run on Friday, July 3, 2020.
