Nominations for Louisiana Downs Maiden Stakes Close December 10

Nominations for the $35,000-est. Louisiana Downs Maiden Stakes (not black type) are due Tuesday, December 10.

ALEXANDRIA, LA—NOVEMBER 19, 2019—Nominations for the 2020 $35,000-est. Louisiana Downs Maiden Stakes (not black type) close Tuesday, December 10. The $15,000-added race is for accredited Louisiana-Bred foals of 2015, 2016 and 2017 who are maidens as of December 1, 2019.

A nomination fee of $350 is due December10 and there will be no supplemental entries. All owners must be current members of the Louisiana Quarter Horse Racing Association (LQHBA). Memberships can be obtained at time of nomination.

Trials for the 350 yard race will be contested on Saturday, January 18th and final is set for Saturday, February 8th at Louisiana Downs in Bossier City.

A second payment of $350 will be due to the Horsemen's Bookkeeper at time of entry.
