Early Post Friday and Saturday at Delta Downs

Delta Downs will have early posts on both Friday and Saturday this week to accommodate trials for the Lassie and Laddie futurities.

VINTON, LA—APRIL 26, 2019—To accommodate the Lassie and Laddie Futurity trials this weekend, Delta Downs will kick-off with early posts on both Friday and Saturday.

Friday's 1st post is set for 4:30 pm (CDT). The track will offer 15 trials at 330 yards for the $339,931restricted Grade 2 Lassie Futurity for accredited Louisiana-Bred 2-year-old fillies.

Saturday's first post is 3:30 pm (CDT) with 17 trials scheduled at 330 yards for the $369,405 restricted Grade 2 Laddie Futurity for accredited Louisiana-Bred 2-year-old colts and geldings.

The top ten qualifiers from both sets of trials will return to Delta Downs on Friday, May 11th to the vie for the winner's share of each purse in each of the finals.
