HorseManDon Posts Interview With Jockey Gilbert Ortiz

VINTON, LA—MARCH 30, 2017—Delta Downs Track Announcer Don Stevens posts ''HorseMan Don'' YouTube videos weekly from the southern Louisiana racetrack. This episode he interviews Quarter Horse jockey Gilbert Ortiz.

In preparation of the 2017 live Quarter Horse season, set to kick off Friday, April 21st, ''HorseManDon'' caught up a with the longtime Louisiana-based jockey.

The videos feature discussions with Ortiz about his career, riding at Delta Downs, his win with Watergirl B in last year's $690,000 Lee Berwick Futurity(RG1) and how long he plans to ride before retiring.
