Stall Applications For Delta's Quarter Horse Meet Due March 8

Stallion applications for the 2017 Delta Downs Quarter Horse meeting are due March 8.

The upcoming meet is scheduled to run from April 21 through July 8 with live racing each Wednesday through Saturday night. First post will be 6:15 p.m. (CDT).

Stall applications for the new season at Delta Downs are available by CLICKING HERE or by visiting the track's website at deltadownsracing.com under the "Horsemen’s Info" section. The highlight of the 46-day stand will come on closing night, July 8th when the track hosts the Louisiana Show Case Night, which will host a full card of stakes for Louisiana-breds including the richest Quarter Horse race of the meet, the $700,000-est. Lee Berwick Futurity(RG1).

Additional highlights of the live Quarter Horse Season include the Grade 2 Firecracker Futurity, Firecracker Derby and LQHBA's restricted Grade 2 Laddie Futurity and Lassie Futurity for state-breds.
