Street Fare Derby Continues at Fair Grounds on Sunday

NEW ORLEANS—AUGUST 16, 2015—People gathered yesterday (Saturday) for the annual Street Fare Derby at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans.

The event takes place during the track's Summer Quarter Horse Meet and features food trucks and vendors, live music and Quarter Horse racing.

The event continues today (Sunday) and the music lineup will be John "Papa" Gros Band (1–3 p.m.) and Bonerama (4–6 p.m.).

The participating trucks include Burgers Ya Heard, King Creole, Food Drunk and Streat Car from District Donuts.Sliders.Brew.

Tickets to the Street Fare Derby are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Children ages 5 to 12 are $5. Kids under 5 are free.
