VINTON, LA–MAY 1, 2022
-–Mrs Kennedy TLC, a graded stakes winning daughter of The Louisiana Cartel racing for Edwardo Lopez, is scheduled to make her next start in this week's 330-yard Louisiana Breeders' Lassie Futurity (RG2) trials for state-bred 2-year-old fillies at Delta Downs.

A total of 16 heats will be contested, eight on Wednesday and eight on Thursday. The five fastest qualifiers from each night of trials will meet in the May 27, $310,695 final.

Mrs Kennedy TLC has earned $174,596 from two outs, and her two wins include a three-quarter length victory in the 300-yard, $383,000 Mardi Gras Futurity (RG2) at Louisiana Downs on March 27. A $6,500 purchase at last year's LQHBA Yearling Sale, she drew post 4 and will be ridden by Arturo Alvarez for trainer Miguel Pizana in Thursday's eighth trial.

Louisiana Freight, a graded stakes placed daughter of Freighttrain B racing for Isidro Martinez and Marco Antonio Lopez, will race in Wednesday's fifth heat. Louisiana Freight will be stretching out in distance off of her third-place finish, three-quarters of a length behind Mrs Kennedy TLC, in the Mardi Gras Futurity.

Louisiana Freight was an $18,000 purchase at last year's Louisiana QHBA Yearling Sale. The filly drew the rail post and will be ridden by Heriberto Aguilar-Orozco for trainer Miguel Pizana.
