VINTON, LA—JUNE 5, 2018—Graded stakes winners Going Noble and FM Im A Zatanaz Too are among the 92 juveniles entered in Saturday’s 350-yard Firecracker Futurity (G2) trials at Delta Downs.

A homebred son of Fdd Going Grand trained by Lanny Keith for Mercy Hinklin’s Horse Farm LLC, Going Noble will be making his first start since March 21, when the sorrel gelding scored a wire-to-wire, 1 1/4-length victory in the 300-yard, $238,000 Harrah’s Entertainment Futurity (G3) at Louisiana Downs. Going Noble drew post 4 and will be ridden by Everardo Rodriguez in the first of 10 trials.

FM Im A Zatanaz Too has won both of his starts, including the 330-yard, $441,000 Sam Houston Futurity (G2) on April 28, and he has earned $178,040. Trained by Robert Meche for owner Jose Fabian Hernandez, the gelded son of champion Tempting Dash drew post 3 and will be ridden by Manuel Gutierrez in the seventh heat.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from Saturday’s trials will meet in the July 4, $100,000-added Firecracker Futurity trial.
