Jessa Louisiana Zoom Seeks First Stakes win in $273,977 Louisiana Breeders’ Lassie Futurity

Fastest qualifier Jess Louisiana Zoom will head a full field in Friday's $273,977 Louisiana Breeders’ Lassie Futurity (RG2) at Delta Downs.

VINTON, LA—MAY 11, 2015—Jessa Louisiana Zoom, the fastest qualifier, drew post 6 for Friday’s 330-yard, $273,977 Louisiana Breeders’ Lassie Futurity (RG2) at Delta Downs.

A $22,000 buy at last year’s Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders’ Association Yearling Sale, Jessa Louisiana Zoom races for Jason Richards and Michael LeBlanc and is trained by Frank Cavazos. The brown daughter of champion Jess Louisiana Blue made her debut with a 1 1/4-length victory in the ninth of 13 trials on April 24.

Danny Lavergne will ride Jessa Louisiana Zoom on Friday.

Second-fastest qualifier First Kool Lajolla will be ridden by Eddi Martinez from post 10. A bay filly by First N Kool acquired for $7,500 at the LQHBA Yearling Sale, First Kool Lajolla is trained by Jose A. Garcia for owner Jose Guzman.
