Grade 3 Winner RC Me Leaving You Retired to Delta Equine Center

VINTON, LA—NOVEMBER 21, 2018—Grade 3 winner RC Me Leaving You SI 105 has been retired from racing and will enter stud in 2019 at Delta Equine Center near Vinton, Louisiana. The bay stallion's fee has been set at $1,500.

"RC Me Leaving You is a hard knocking horse that retired sound after a five-year career and more than 30 starts," Delta Equine Farm Manager Caleb Findley said Wednesday. "For the breeder looking to breed soundness back into their program he is worth a look."

Campaigned by Bennie and Teri Jeter, the 6-year-old son of champion sire Coronas Leaving You won or placed in 22 races while earning $209,748. He won the Grade 3 B F Phillips Jr Handicap(G3)-twice, Nevill Document Solutions Stakes-twice, was second in the Sam Houston Championship Challenge(G2), Miami-Dade County Stakes, Live Oak Handicap and third in the Texas Classic Derby(G1), Sam Houston Classic Stakes(G2), TQHA Classic Stakes(G3), Hialeah Maturity and Texas Classic Juvenile Invitational.

RC Me Leaving You was also a finalist to the Sam Houston Championship Challenge(G2), Sam Houston Classic Stakes(G2), TQHA Classic Stakes(G2), Develop a Plan Stakes(G3) and Retama Park Derby.

His sire is the Grade 2 winning son of leading sire Corona Cartel, Coronas Leaving You SI 103 ($278,358). In seven crops to race, he has sired 17 stakes winners, 1 champion, 213 winners with earnings of nearly $9 million.
