Grade 2 Winner Paint Me Perry to Louisiana


Paint Me Perry, winner of the G2 Oklahoma Futurity, will begin his stallion career in 2016 at Louisiana Center For Equine Reproduction near Opelousas.

OPELOUSAS, LA—SEPTEMBER 10, 2015—Grade 2 Oklahoma Futurity winner Paint Me Perry SI 101 will begin his stallion career in 2016 at Louisiana Center For Equine Reproduction near Opelousas. His fee has not been announced.

Owned by J & B Rentals, Paint Me Perry has won or placed in seven of 11 career starts while earning $276,091. He won the Grade 2 Oklahoma Futurity at Remington Park and the Simulcast Services Stakes. He was second in the Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Derby(RG3) and a finalist in the Heritage Place Futurity(G1), Jack Brooks Stakes and TQHA Sires' Cup Derby. He is expected to continue racing until the end of the year.

The son of 2015 leading sire of money earners, Pyc Paint Your Wagon, is out of the stakes producing Mr Jess Perry mare Baby Perry SI 94, a sister to Grade 3 winner Little Kool Barbie SI 104 ($75,238).

The second dam is the three-time champion mare Kool Kue Baby SI 118 ($783,519), dam of 20 ROM (100% from starters), five stakes horses including G2 winner First Kool Baby SI 105 ($158,261), G2 winner and multiple stakes sire First N Kool SI 106 ($92,393), G3 winner Separatist Baby SI 102 ($86,691), G3 winner Little Kool Barbie SI 103 (see above), and stakes winner Kool Wagon SI 103 ($66,743).

Kool Kue Baby is the granddam of such runners as G1 winner Kool Country Man SI 105 ($22,142), stakes winners Little Eye Opener SI 110 ($35,288), etc.
