LQHBA To Award Five $1,000 Scholarships at Louisiana Downs Saturday

Five scholarships will be awarded by the LQHBA at Louisiana Downs on Saturday.

BOSSIER, CITY, LA—MARCH 26, 2021—The Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders' Association will award five scholarships on Saturday (March 27) Mardi Gras Futurity and Derby Day at Louisiana Downs.

The scholarships will be worth $1,000 each. Registration begins at 11 a.m. (CDT), and students must be present when the drawings take place after the fifth race on Saturday. All students must be enrolled in a Louisiana High School to be elgible.

The LQHBA has granted more than $650,000 in scholarships since 2001. For more information, visit lqhba.com.
