LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity and Breeder's Derby Televised Saturday on Cowboy Channel


The Cowboy Channel will host a one-hour telecast of the LQHBA Million Futurity and LQHBA Breeders' Derby Saturday night from Evangeline Downs.

OPELOUSAS, LA–DECEMBER 13, 2022–The Cowboy Chanel, the official network of ProRodeo and the first 24-hour television network totally dedicated to western sports and the western lifestyle, will telecast the $1 million LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity(RG1) and the $179,806 LQHBA Breeders' Derby (RG3) Saturday night  (Dec. 17) from Evangeline Downs in Opelousas, Louisiana.

Jeff Medders and Dave Appleton will be in the Cowboy Channel studio in Fort Worth, Texas and longtime horseracing commentator Tom Dawson will be on site  at Evangeline Downs for live commentary and interviews of largest state-bred futurity for Quarter Horses in the nation.

The one-hour show will air at 8:00 pm. (CST). Estimated post for the LQHBA Breeders Derby will be 8:12 p.m. and the Louisiana Million is expected to go at 8:42.pm.

The Cowboy Channel can be found on AT&T (Channel 566), Charter Spectrum, Cox, DirecTV (channel 603), DISH (Channel 232), Mediacom, Suddenlink, Sling TV's Heartland Package, Verizon FiOS TV and AT&T (Channel 568 & 1568). Check your local listings.
