LQHBA Annual Membership Meeting and Awards Banquet Set Saturday

LQHBA will conducted its annual Membership Meeting and Awards Banquet on Saturday at the Evangeline Downs Event Center in Opelousas.

OPELOUSAS, LA—APRIL 4, 2016—The Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders' Association will conduct its annual Membership Meeting and Awards Banquet at the Evangeline Downs Event Center in Opelousas on Saturday.

"We look forward to a very exciting evening as this is the 50th Anniversary of our association and our inaugural 2016 LQHBA Hall of Fame Class will be inducted, as well as presentation of awards to our 2015 LQHBA Champions." LQHBA Executive Director Tony Patterson said. "Our Emcee will once again be Greg Thompson of Stallionesearch.com and we are hoping for an excellent turnout."

The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. (CDT), however early voting will begin at 2 p.m. Voting members of the association are reminded they must show their ID and sign their name to receive a ballot.

An LQHBA Board of Directors Meeting will begin at 1:00 pm in the lobby of the Evangeline Downs Event Center that same day.

LQHBA is the official authorized representative of the American Quarter Horse racing and breeding industry in Louisiana, the unified voice of quarter Horse breedings in the State of Louisiana for purposes of communicatting the advantages and rewards of breeding Quarter Horses in the State and for the purposes of a conducting and coordinating activities with breeding and racing agencies.
